This shared defibrillator (AED) is jointly provided by Southport Model Boat Club and Southport Model Engineering Club, with thanks to Southport Saviours. Available 24/7 for emergency use, located at the side of the boat club building on Rotten Row.

Location

The defibrillator is mounted on the side wall of the boat club building, facing Rotten Row. It is clearly visible and accessible at all times via the gate from Rotten Row opposite Jubilee Pond.

The Circuit

This defibrillator is registered with The Circuit - the national defibrillator network. In an emergency, call 999 and they will direct you to the nearest available AED.

How to Use

  1. Call 999 - They will give you the access code
  2. Open the cabinet - Enter the code provided
  3. Follow the AED instructions - The device will guide you
  4. Apply pads as shown - The AED will analyse and advise

You cannot harm someone with a defibrillator - it will only deliver a shock if needed.
